For most of my life, these ideas existed without me.

Each Roomie lived in their own reality inside my subconscious. Fully formed. Independent. Loud in ways I learned to ignore.

The In-Between is what formed when I finally stopped quieting them.

It’s where those separate realities first collided inside conscious thought.

Where they became aware of each other. And where they realized they might become real in our reality.

This is where ideas negotiate existence.

Not with me as a character, but with limitation. Time. Energy. Attention. Consequence.

What gets built is simply what survives that moment.

A character or variant becomes a Roomie when they have something to say.
