The Glitch Tapes
An experiment in story, rhythm, and reckless iteration.
A series of short creative experiments. Sometimes film, sometimes animation, sometimes both. With original lyrics and AI-generated music. Edited with simple tools, too much caffeine, and the impulse to see what happens next.

The Premise
The Glitch Tapes is a "F*ck it, We'll Do It Live" kinda approach. Every Tape looks through a different lens like music, design, writing, film, tattoos, persuasion, or whatever pulls me in at the moment. It’s not about polish. It’s about expanding my range using narrative storytelling as my vehicle of exploration. What happens when I stop waiting to know how to do something and just make the process the product and use The Roomies to tell the story.
Each Tape stands on its own as a small creative experiment caught mid-process. They’re glimpses of whatever I’m learning in real time. How story, design, sound, music, and motion come together in reality instead of just my mind. It's where an idea first come to my head and I decide whethere it gets born or not.

The Hard Part
There’s no crew unless I create one - hence The Roomies. Nobody moving the camera for me. No gear list. No budget. Just one room, a phone, and the decision to turn ideas into characters and those voices into something that feels alive beyond what you just see on screen. And a ton of extra footage.
The real challenge isn’t equipment. It’s momentum. Can I keep curiosity alive when perfection is off the table? Each Tape is proof that practice alone can carry a story. But having an idea, scripting it, shooting it, actually producing the character narrative, and editing it is a long cycle. Keeping the spark until the idea comes to life is the guage of whether an idea exists or not. It's why The Roomies have their own opinions.

The Vision
My goal is simple. Learn how to tell stories from the ground up. Acting, scripting, editing, animation. Whatever it takes to make ideas move. The Glitch Tapes is my training ground for that. And the subjects stay in the "write what you know" kinda lane which is why The Roomies are an extension of ideas from my subconcious figuring out if they're gonna come to life or not.

Ultimately, I could see hundreds of ways the Roomies and I continue to exist across mediums. Storytelling through media hopping and intentional device-specific content is how stories come to life in the real world. That's how ideas come to life in another human's life. I'm putting it into practice.

Creative Constraints
Creativity works better inside design systems. By creating these "constraints", I force myself to be efficient and resourceful instead of waiting for the perfect idea.
Stick to the creative pursuits I enjoy
The same four walls become every set I need
A phone, a mic, a basic light kit, nothing more
These rules are not about restriction. They are about momentum. With fewer choices, I spend less time planning and more time making.
